Parks and Leisure Australia offer a variety of different membership levels from student through to Corporate.

Full Time Student Member: $48.00 per year
A full time student in any parks, leisure or recognised allied undergraduate course at a University, College, or School. A student member receives all member benefits including a copy of each edition of the quarterly journal "Australasian Parks and Leisure", and discounts to all seminars and conferences.

Individual Member: $205.00 per year
Persons who are working within the parks and leisure industry.  A member receives one copy of each edition of the quarterly journal "Australasian Parks and Leisure", and discounts to all Parks and Leisure Australia seminars and conferences. An individual member is also authorised to use the affiliation initials MPLA after their name.

Fellow: $205.00 per year
Persons, who have been approved by the National Board, have provided distinguished service within the parks and leisure industry and have been a member of Parks and Leisure Australia for a minimum of five years. A Fellow must be nominated by their Regional council and endorsed by the National Board.  A Fellow member is authorised to use the affiliation initials FPLA.

Corporate Membership
2 nominees: $436.00
5 nominees: $888.00
50 nominees: $6,887.00
Allocated to an organisation which provides its core business within the parks and leisure industry. A corporate membership provides discounted access to nominated employees from the organisation to any event/activity. It offers flexibility of involvement, allowing the agreed number of persons to attend PLA events

Corporate membership allows 1 vote in any member poll.

Retired Member: $95.00 per year
A person who is no longer engaged in full time employment, either through permanent retirement or a temporary reirtement from the workforce (i.e. maternity leave). This person still seeks updated information on industry developments. A retired member can retain the use of affiliation initials after their name.

Honorary Life Member: Complimentary
This category of membership is only conferred by the National Board. Life membership is provided to a person who in the opinion of the National Board, is distinguished by eminent attainments within the Australian parks and leisure industry; having rendered long standing years of service to this organisation, or its predecessor organisations. A Life member is authorised to use the affiliation initials HLMPLA after their name.

Hard Copy Journal Subscriber: $71.00 per year / $88.00 per year for Overseas Subscribers
A subscriber will receive each of the four hard copy editions of Australasian Parks and Leisure produced year.

Affiliate Member HTSA: $50
(Based in South Australia but available to members with a Horticultural Therapy focus)
